Current Academic Responsibilities
I work with and support master’s students as they advance through their academic program(s). My international work is in partnership with the International Baccalaureate Organization; the Beijing Channel Consulting Company; and Weiming Education Group.
My research has been disseminated through numerous publications and presentations. My research focuses on the effects constructivist classroom contextual factors have on student motivation and learning strategy use.
Service to SSMA
I am a lifetime member, an Associate Editor of the SSM journal, and I am on the SSMA Finance Committee.
Vision for SSMA
I am interested in facilitating the growth of SSMA globally. I would like to encourage and support the dissemination of the work of our association to practitioners and researchers on a larger international scale through developed collaborations.
