Provide leadership for faculty, academic programs, planning, policy, curriculum, assessment, community partnerships; support student success; ensure academic curriculum meets the standards of accrediting and licensing agencies; enrollment management and retention initiatives, manage budget.

Recent Accomplishments

My academic work has been disseminated through numerous publications and presentations. My research focuses on the effects constructivist classroom contextual factors have on student motivation and learning strategy use. 2022-2023 American Council on Education Fellow.

Service to SSMA and other Professional Organizations

I am a lifetime member of SSMA; previously served on the Board of Directors; Finance Committee member, and an Associate Editor for our journal.

Your Vision for SSMA

I am interested in facilitating the growth of SSMA. I will encourage and support the dissemination of the work of our association to practitioners and researchers on a larger scale through developed collaborations.
